Heber Road Project

The project comprised a loft extension with a three-storey rear addition. There was formerly a modest two storey addition: a small mezzanine bathroom over a compact kitchen. Our intervention involved a steel framed, insulated and timber clad extension that added space at the first mezzanine level to form a larger shower room; then above, creating a spacious landing on the way up to a new main bedroom at attic level. The property is located in one of the side turnings off Lordship Lane as it climbs up towards Dulwich Library; its location on the north side of the street affords stunning views from the attic extension, over the roof tops towards the city in the distance. The scheme has transformed a compact house into a home that is both calm and dramatic; a secret gem.
