East Dulwich Home
Our clients required a design service up to planning consent for a side-infill extension to their terraced East Dulwich house. The scheme features a flat-roofed extension with two distinct sections; one with a rooflight oriented to give the best light to the original rear reception room; the other lighting the dining area with Veluxes sloping towards the boundary. The interior scheme and kitchen design was worked up by interior designer Anna Richmond to provide cool modern finishes, furnishings and lighting features. The scheme makes the most of the compact rear courtyard by creating an inside outside space, flowing easily through sliding folding doors to provide a sequence of relaxing family living spaces. The exposed brickwork in the interior is a masterpiece of meticulous pointing, providing an abstract texture to the whole wall.
